Position: QA Engineer
Location: Islamabad, Pakistan
Experience: 3–5 Years (Mid Level)
Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or a related field
Job Summary
We’re looking for a detail-oriented Mid-Level QA Engineer to ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of our web, mobile, backend systems, and integrations.
Key Responsibilities
· Perform functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.
· Prepare and maintain test cases, scenarios, and QA documentation.
· Perform API testing using Postman or similar tools.
· Test web, mobile, backend systems, and third-party integrations.
· Identify, document, and track defects using Jira.
· Validate fixes and perform regression testing before releases.
· Support production issue investigation and post-release validation.
· Collaborate with Product, Development, DevOps, and Support teams.
· Contribute to test automation and continuous improvement of QA processes.
Requirements
· 3–5 years of professional QA/testing experience.
· Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and testing methodologies.
· Hands-on experience with API testing and Postman.
· Good understanding of REST APIs, JSON, HTTP, and integrations.
· Basic SQL/database validation skills.
· Experience with Jira.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Nice to Have
· Experience with automation testing.
· Knowledge of CI/CD and DevOps processes.
· Experience with performance/load testing.
· Experience in Telecom or HealthTech.
