Job Summary
An Emb Sketcher creates embroidery sketches, patterns, and artwork for garments, fabrics, and fashion accessories. The role involves converting design concepts into detailed embroidery-ready sketches using hand drawing or design software while coordinating with designers, production teams, and embroidery machine operators.
Key Responsibilities
Create embroidery sketches and design layouts for garments and textile products.
Develop motifs, patterns, borders, logos, and decorative artwork.
Prepare embroidery files and technical details for production.
Use design software such as Adobe Illustrator, CorelDRAW, or embroidery digitizing software.
Coordinate with fashion designers and production teams to ensure accurate execution.
Select suitable colors, threads, fabrics, and stitch styles.
Modify designs based on customer or management feedback.
Maintain design records and sample archives.
Ensure embroidery designs meet quality and production standards.
Required Skills
Strong sketching and drawing abilities.
Knowledge of embroidery techniques and fabric types.
Creativity and attention to detail.
Understanding of color combinations and fashion trends.
Basic knowledge of embroidery machines and digitizing.
