Position: Technical Engineering Lead
Location: CIS Technology Park, G5/2, Islamabad
SeQuenX is looking for an experienced and hands-on Technical Engineering Lead to lead software engineering teams while remaining deeply involved in system architecture, backend development, AI initiatives, and agentic workflows.
Team Leadership & Mentorship:
Lead, guide, and mentor software engineering teams.
Foster ownership, innovation, collaboration, and technical excellence.
Support engineering recruitment, onboarding, and performance management.
Architecture & Engineering:
Design and architect scalable, secure, and high-performance software systems.
Stay hands-on with modern backend development and technical problem-solving.
Develop and implement agentic workflows.
Support AI initiatives from architecture through production deployment.
Agile Delivery
Lead sprint planning, tracking, and execution.
Ensure predictable, high-quality product releases.
Collaborate with Product, Design, Data, and business leadership teams.
Technical Requirements:
Strong expertise in modern software engineering and distributed system design.

Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
8+ years of software engineering experience.
3+ years of experience leading engineering teams.
Proven experience architecting and deploying large-scale production systems.
Demonstrated experience building and deploying AI-powered products or agentic solutions.
Strong leadership, coaching, and stakeholder management skills.
Experience working within Agile/Scrum environments.
Hands-on technical leader capable of architecting complex systems and contributing to code when required.
Strong mentor focused on building high-performing engineering teams.
Ownership-driven mindset with a focus on execution, quality, and measurable business impact.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to bridge technical and non-technical stakeholders.
