WE ARE HIRING – TAX EXECUTIVE
About the Role
SJS International is looking for a Tax Executive to join our team in Lahore (Onsite).
📍 Location: Quaid-e-Azam Industrial Estate, Kot Lakhpat, Lahore
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain complete sales and purchase records for accurate and timely filing of Sales Tax, Withholding Tax, and Income Tax returns.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable local, provincial, and federal tax laws and statutory requirements.
- Maintain accurate tax records, invoices, withholding certificates, reconciliation reports, and supporting documentation for audits and compliance.
- Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual tax reporting, including tax workings, reconciliations, and timely submission of returns.
- Coordinate with internal departments and external auditors/tax consultants for audit and assessment activities.
- Respond to tax notices, inquiries, and audit requirements by providing accurate documentation and resolving discrepancies promptly.
- Monitor updates in tax laws and regulations and regularly reconcile tax accounts.
Candidate Requirements
- Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Taxation
- 2–5 years of hands-on experience in taxation, corporate accounting, or related financial roles
- Strong practical knowledge of taxation and accounting functions
- Sound understanding of tax laws, financial regulations, and compliance procedures
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
