Role Overview
The selected candidate will lead ITA’s Early Years & Foundational Learning portfolio by:
- Strengthening Early Childhood Care & Education (ECCE)
- Supporting foundational learning (Pre-School to Grade 2/3)
- Ensuring high-quality, inclusive, evidence-based, play-based education programs
Qualifications & Experience
- Master’s degree (minimum 16 years of education) in:
- Early Childhood Education
- Education
- Curriculum & Instruction
- Educational Leadership
- Social Sciences
- Or a related field
- 5–8 years of progressively responsible experience in:
- ECCE
- Foundational learning
- Teacher professional development
- Curriculum design
- Education program management
- Experience working with:
- Government education departments
- Development partners
- Donor-funded education programs
- Strong knowledge of:
- Play-based pedagogy
- Learning assessments
- Education policy
- Program quality assurance
- Excellent leadership, communication, analytical, report-writing, and stakeholder management skills
- Willingness to travel extensively across Pakistan
