Digital Apparels is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Product Safety Officer to join our team.

Position: Product Safety Officer

📍 Location: Site area Karachi, Pakistan
🏭 Industry: Garments / Apparel Manufacturing

Key Responsibilities

Ensure product safety requirements are implemented and maintained throughout production processes.
Monitor compliance with buyer-specific product safety standards and requirements.
Conduct product safety inspections, risk assessments, and compliance checks.
Coordinate with Quality, Production, Washing, Finishing, and Merchandising teams to address safety-related concerns.
Investigate product safety issues and ensure effective corrective and preventive actions.
Maintain product safety records, reports, and relevant compliance documentation.
Support internal and external audits related to product safety and compliance.
Ensure compliance with applicable international standards, buyer requirements, and company procedures.

Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Textile Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Quality Management, or a relevant field.
Relevant experience in apparel/garment manufacturing and product safety/compliance will be preferred.
Strong knowledge of quality systems, risk assessment, and corrective action processes.
Good communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work cross-functionally and manage safety-related issues effectively.
