𝐁𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐚 𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐲 is looking to hire a skilled and experienced professional for the position of 𝐌𝐞𝐫𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐝 – 𝐅𝐨𝐨𝐭𝐰𝐞𝐚𝐫.

𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬
o Manage the complete footwear merchandising cycle from PO placement to production follow-up, dispatch, and final warehouse delivery.
o Ensure accurate purchase and production orders, including quantities, size breakdowns, specifications, barcodes, costing, and delivery timelines.
o Maintain category-wise, article-wise, and vendor-wise delivery plans, T&A schedules, and PTR updates while tracking planned versus actual warehouse receipts.
o Coordinate with vendors to monitor production progress, raw material availability, capacity, and delivery commitments, proactively resolving delays and supply issues.
o Collaborate with Planning, Sourcing, Design, Quality, Supply Chain, and Warehouse teams to ensure smooth order execution and timely deliveries.
o Ensure approved samples, materials, specifications, and production requirements are finalized before bulk production, with a strong understanding of footwear construction, materials, components, and shoe-making processes.
o Conduct vendor factory visits when required to monitor production and ensure compliance with approved specifications, manufacturing procedures, and quality standards.
o Work with vendors and the Quality team to identify defects, determine root causes, implement corrective actions, and minimize rework, rejections, and customer complaints. Ensure proposed changes to approved materials or construction are reviewed by relevant teams.
o Maintain accurate order and inventory movement records and prepare reports on production progress, deliveries, outstanding quantities, material issues, and vendor performance.
o Work with the Sourcing Lead to align vendor capacity, order allocation, product development, and production requirements while identifying opportunities to improve delivery timelines, material utilization, and product quality.
o Lead the merchandising team, ensuring effective follow-ups, accurate data, and timely reporting.
𝐑𝐞𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬:
o 8–12 years of relevant experience in footwear merchandising, production coordination, or footwear manufacturing/retail.
o Strong knowledge of footwear manufacturing, shoe construction, materials, components, and quality standards.
o Understanding of production planning, T&A schedules, raw material management, vendor capacity, and delivery timelines.
o Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, reporting, data analysis, and ERP systems.
o Strong communication, coordination, follow-up, and problem-solving skills.
o Willingness to visit vendor factories and resolve production and quality issues directly with manufacturers.
