Position: MANAGER PURCHASE
Key Responsibilities:
MANAGER PURCHASE
  • Manage the local and imported procurement of yarn, fabric, dyes & chemicals, parts, accessories & general items.
  • Be well aware of all the markets available in Pakistan or abroad for procurement of all relevant items.
  • Develop and implement procurement strategies in line with company needs and production goals.
  • Negotiate contracts with suppliers to the best interest of the organization.
  • Maintain good relations with all vendors and ensure cost electively & timely delivery of required products.
  • Keep track of all requisitions and manage procurement of items within specified time limits.
  • Manage workload of all team members in the most effective and efficient manner.
  • Evaluate vendor performance and maintain record.
  • Maintain data in ERP/software as per SOPs of the company.
  • Analyze market trends to forecast needs.
  • Collaborate with all departments for smooth functioning of the procurement process.
  • Ensure compliance with company SOPs and procedures.

Education:
Master’s.
Preferably MBA in Supply Chain
Experience:
Min.Β 10 years’
experience in textile
organization at
a managerial position
