Are you a commercially minded Accountant or Finance Professional ready to go beyond bookkeeping? Join our growing group of businesses and play a key role in financial control, reporting, project costing, and business decision-making.
🔹 Key Responsibilities:
✅ Manage day-to-day financial control and prepare accurate P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow reports.
✅ Prepare concise weekly management reports for the CEO.
✅ Monitor project costs, job costing, and profit margins.
✅ Manage stock/inventory reconciliation and financial controls.
✅ Monitor receivables, payables, and overall cash position.
✅ Identify unusual expenses, declining margins, and financial discrepancies.
✅ Provide financial insights to support business decisions.
✅ Improve reporting processes using Excel, Google Sheets, accounting systems, and AI tools.
🎯 Requirements:
✔️ Strong accounting background — qualified, part-qualified, or with solid practical experience.
✔️ Experience in project accounting, job costing, and inventory control.
✔️ Commercial mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
✔️ Ability to work independently and take ownership.
✔️ Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets and accounting software.
✔️ Confidence working directly with founders and business heads.
✔️ Willingness to use AI tools to improve financial reporting and efficiency.
