Position: Assistant Supply Chain Manager
Location: Khanewal Farm, FonGrow (Pvt.) Ltd.
Role Overview
We are seeking a proactive and experienced Assistant Supply Chain Manager to support end-to-end supply chain operations at our Khanewal Farm. The role involves planning, coordinating, and optimizing procurement, inventory, warehousing, and logistics of agricultural inputs, livestock-related materials, and farm produce to ensure seamless, cost-effective, and timely operations.
Key Responsibilities
โข Plan, coordinate, and supervise supply chain activities including procurement, inventory management, warehousing, and logistics.
โข Source and negotiate high-quality agricultural inputs (seeds, fertilizers, agrochemicals, machinery parts, feed, etc.) while ensuring cost efficiency and quality standards.
โข Monitor stock levels, forecast demand, minimize wastage, and maintain optimal inventory for continuous farm operations.
โข Coordinate with suppliers, transporters, internal departments (Farm, Livestock, Finance), and external stakeholders for timely deliveries and dispatches.
โข Optimize supply chain processes to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance operational reliability.
โข Analyze supply chain data, prepare reports, and support decision-making on procurement and logistics.
โข Ensure accurate documentation, record-keeping, and compliance with company policies, quality standards, and relevant regulations.
โข Support continuous improvement initiatives in supply chain and logistics at the farm level.
โข Perform any other related duties as assigned by management.
Requirements & Qualifications
โข Bachelorโs or Masterโs degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Agriculture, or a related field.
โข 3โ5 years of relevant experience in supply chain, procurement, or logistics (agriculture, agribusiness, or large-scale farming preferred).
โข Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel) and experience with inventory/ERP systems is an advantage.
โข Excellent negotiation, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
โข Ability to work effectively in a farm environment and under pressure to meet operational deadlines.
โข Willingness to be based at / regularly work from the Khanewal Farm location.
