We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Senior Accountant with practical experience in UK year-end accounts preparation. The ideal candidate must be able to handle accounts from scratch to finalisation with minimal supervision.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Prepare UK Limited Company annual accounts from scratch to finalisation.
• Prepare complete working paper files, including lead schedules and reconciliations.
• Review bookkeeping records, perform year-end adjustments, and resolve discrepancies.
• Ensure accuracy and compliance with relevant UK accounting and statutory requirements.
• Manage assigned client accounts and meet deadlines independently.
REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
• 2–3 years of practical experience in UK accounts preparation using both Excel & software
• Strong understanding of UK Limited Company annual accounts
• Hands-on experience with TaxCalc and IRIS Elements is essential.
• Ability to prepare accounts independently, with minimal supervision.
• Strong technical knowledge, attention to detail, and time management skills.
