HR Operations & Payroll Executive

Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented HR Operations & Payroll Executive to manage end-to-end HR operational activities. The role focuses on maintaining accurate HR data, handling payroll inputs, resolving employee queries, and ensuring smooth coordination between clients and internal HR teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day HR operations to ensure smooth, compliant, and efficient HR processes.

  • Maintain and update employee master data, including onboarding, exits, and record changes.

  • Prepare, verify, and process payroll input data with accuracy and timely submission.

  • Coordinate and share new employee details and documentation with relevant internal stakeholders.

  • Serve as the first point of contact for employee queries related to:

    • Payroll and salary matters

    • Income Tax on Salary

    • Expense claims and reimbursements

    • HR policies and procedures

  • Ensure effective HR system management, data accuracy, and process compliance.

  • Manage FS-related tasks (where applicable) with proper documentation and timely updates.

  • Liaise with HR, payroll, and operations teams to resolve issues and escalations.

  • Maintain strict confidentiality of employee data in line with company and client policies.

  • Support audits, HR reporting, and ad-hoc operational requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • 1–2 years of hands-on experience in HR operations, payroll coordination, or a similar role.

  • Prior experience in the HR/payroll department of a medium to large-sized organization.

  • Good understanding of HR systems and payroll processes.

  • Strong proficiency in MS Excel.
