Happilac Paints is inviting applications for the position of Manager R&D (Decorative Paints) at its Faisalabad manufacturing facility.
This role requires a hands-on professional who understands both product chemistry and on-ground application challenges, and can translate market feedback into practical solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
β’ Lead the development and improvement of decorative paint formulations (emulsions, enamels, textures, etc.)
β’ Ensure product performance aligns with market requirements and application standards
β’ Coordinate with Sales & Marketing teams to address dealer and customer feedback
β’ Optimize formulations for cost efficiency while maintaining quality benchmarks
β’ Support production teams during scale-up and ensure consistency in batches
β’ Manage lab testing, documentation, and quality checks
β’ Drive continuous improvement in existing product lines
Requirements:
β’ Bachelorβs or Masterβs degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field
β’ 15+ yearsβ relevant experience in decorative paints.
β’ Strong knowledge of raw materials, formulations, and application techniques
β’ Hands-on experience with production coordination and problem-solving
β’ Practical, result-oriented approach with strong ownership
