Job Summary:
We are seeking a creative and skilled Knits Designer with strong expertise in designing apparel for newborn boys & girls, infants, and younger toddlers, with a particular focus on girls’ shirts and sweatshirts.

Job Responsibilities:

• Design and develop innovative knitwear collections for newborn, infant, and toddler age groups

• Create trend-forward girls’ shirts, sweatshirts, and knit tops

• Select appropriate fabrics, trims, and finishes suitable for babies and toddlers

• Develop detailed tech packs, sketches, and colorways for sampling and production

• Collaborate with merchandising, product development, and production teams

• Ensure designs meet comfort, safety, and quality standards for children’s wear

• Stay updated with global trends, market research, and seasonal inspirations

Qualification & Skills:

• Proven experience as a Knits Designer, preferably in baby and toddler categories

• Strong portfolio showcasing knitwear designs for newborns, infants, and toddlers—especially girls’ tops and sweatshirts

• Excellent understanding of knit fabrics, construction, and fit

• Proficiency in design software (Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, etc.)

• Strong creativity, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
