Position: Assistant Manager – Quality Assurance

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in developing and implementing quality assurance procedures and policies in line with company and customer standards.

  • Monitor production processes to ensure garments meet required quality specifications, including appearance, fit, and construction.

  • Supervise and guide QA team members to ensure accurate inspections and adherence to quality protocols.

  • Conduct inspections, audits, and random checks at various stages of production and report findings.

  • Coordinate with Product Development and Production teams to resolve quality issues promptly.

  • Analyze quality data, defect trends, and customer feedback to support continuous process improvement.

  • Ensure compliance with industry standards (ISO, ASTM, AQL, etc.) and maintain proper documentation.

  • Support new product development by providing quality input on fabrics, trims, and finished garments.

  • Assist in supplier quality evaluation and inspection of raw materials.

  • Train production staff on quality standards, inspection methods, and best practices to prevent defects.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Textile Engineering or Quality Management (QMS)

Experience:

  • Minimum 3–4 years of experience in the textile industry

Required Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of ISO and ASTM standards

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment

  • Basic reporting and documentation skills
