We are a dynamic organization that deals in industrial machinery, driven by innovation and dedicated to achieving exceptional success in our industry.ย As a rapidly expanding company, we are seeking a detail-oriented and experiencedย AM Accountsย who will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations, preparing financial statements, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and supporting the finance team in audits, budgeting, and reporting.ย This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail and the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee general ledger accounting and ensure accurate financial record-keeping.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements and management reports.
- Monitor accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely reconciliations.
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis.
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations, corporate policies and internal controls.
- Support internal and external audit processes, providing required documentation.
- Review and approve journal entries, vouchers and expense claims.
- Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve accounting issues.
- Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of accounting practices and cost structures.
- Proficiency in ERP/accounting software (e.g., SAP)
- Advanced MS Excel skills (Pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.).
Requirements:
- Masters / Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field (CA, ACCA, CMA preferred)
- 5 years of experience in accounting/finance roles, with at least 2 to 3 years in a supervisory position.
