About the Role
Haji Sons Group is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts Officer to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in Accounts Payable, strong knowledge of accounting principles, and proficiency in QuickBooks Desktop. Key Responsibilities
- Manage the complete Accounts Payable cycle.
- Process, verify, and record vendor invoices accurately and on time.
- Prepare and execute vendor payments while maintaining payment schedules.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve payment discrepancies.
- Record and monitor company expenses across departments.
- Maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Coordinate with procurement and other departments regarding purchase orders, invoices, and payments.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of relevant experience in Accounts Payable or Finance.
- Strong working knowledge of QuickBooks Desktop (mandatory).
- Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience handling high-volume vendor transactions.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Experience with inventory-based businesses or project accounting is an added advantage.
