Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled and responsible Fiber Optic Technician to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair fiber optic networks. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring smooth internet connectivity and resolving fiber-related issues at customer premises and network sites.
Key Responsibilities:
Install and maintain FTTH/GPON fiber optic connections.
Perform fiber cable laying, termination, jointing, and splicing.
Install and configure ONT/ONU and related equipment.
Troubleshoot fiber cuts, signal loss, and connectivity issues.
Use fiber testing equipment such as OTDR and power meter.
Perform fiber testing and identify faults accurately.
Handle customer complaints related to fiber/internet connectivity.
Conduct new connections, shifting, and restoration work.
Maintain proper tools, equipment, and technical records.
Follow safety procedures and company technical standards.

Requirements:
Minimum Matric/Intermediate or relevant technical qualification.
Experience in Fiber Optic will be preferred.
Basic knowledge of fiber splicing and troubleshooting.
Ability to work in the field and handle outdoor assignments.
Good communication and problem-solving skills.
Valid driving license will be an advantage.
