Deputy Manager – Mechanical

📍 Location: Port Qasim, Karachi

Key Responsibilities

• Lead site engineering and CAPEX projects from planning to commissioning and handover

• Ensure cost-effective project execution through BOQ preparation, budgeting, scheduling, and cost control

• Oversee mechanical maintenance to ensure safe, reliable, and uninterrupted plant operations

• Optimize utilities systems including steam, gas, water, compressed air, chillers, and boilers

• Improve equipment reliability through TPM implementation, reducing MTTR and improving MTBF

• Manage contractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders for timely and quality execution

• Ensure strict compliance with safety standards, statutory requirements, and company procedures

• Control and manage maintenance and engineering budgets

• Lead, mentor, and develop engineering, utilities, and maintenance teams

Candidate Criteria

• 🎓 Education: Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering

• 🧠 Experience: 5–7 years of relevant working experience

• 🏭 Strong exposure to industrial plant maintenance & utilities
