About the Role

We are seeking a proactive a BD Intern to work with our Lead Generation team and support our in driving growth for our SaaS/AI & Microsoft Power Platform Products & Services. The intern will help identify, engage, and qualify potential customers while learning modern lead generation strategies. This role is ideal for students or fresh graduates eager to gain hands-on exposure to lead generation.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Prospecting & Market Research
  • Research target companies and decision-makers (Founders, CTOs, Product Managers, Growth Managers).
  • Identify leads that fit our Ideal Customer Profile (ICP) using LinkedIn, Crunchbase, G2, Capterra, etc.
  • Segment leads based on industry, company size, and tech stack.
  1. Outreach & Engagement
  • Assist in LinkedIn outreach campaigns (connection requests, InMails).
  • Draft and send cold emails with follow-up sequences.
  • Support inbound lead handling (responding to demo requests, sign-ups).
  1. CRM & Data Management
  • Maintain accurate lead records in CRM (HubSpot, Salesforce, Zoho).
  • Tag and categorize leads (trial users, MQLs, SQLs).
  • Regularly update progress and pipeline metrics.
  1. Lead Generation

Use lead generation tools to find and qualify prospects, including:

  • LinkedIn Sales Navigator – advanced prospect search and outreach
  • Apollo.io / ZoomInfo / Lusha – contact data (emails, phone numbers)
  • Hunter.io / Skrapp.io – email finding and verification
  • Clutch / GoodFirms / SaaS directories – identifying companies seeking IT solutions
  • Google Sheets / Excel – lead list building and reporting
  • HubSpot / Zoho CRM – CRM data entry and lead tracking

 

Required Skills

  • Strong research skills and ability to find accurate information online.
  • Excellent written communication in English (cold emails, LinkedIn messages).
  • Basic understanding of SaaS, AI/ML, Microsoft Power Platform, and cloud-based solutions.
  • Good data management skills using Excel/Google Sheets.
  • Strong time management, persistence, and attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of CRM tools (HubSpot, Salesforce, Zoho).
  • Awareness of SaaS metrics (MRR, ARR, CAC, LTV, churn rate).
  • Experience with email automation tools (Apollo, Lemlist, Mailchimp).
